Management Summary

The aim was for all BERNMOBIL employees to have access to instructions and messages on the intranet, to be able to search for them in the application, to filter them and, of course, to read them. In order to develop these business requirements, BERNMOBIL wrote a requirement specification and sent this to potential suppliers and asked them to submit offers. 

 

Customer

It was important for BERNMOBIL to have a local contact, so 4teamwork AG was asked for a quote. This company was known to BERNMOBIL in the Bern area for professional and modern software developments.

 

Requirements

Communication with drivers is increasingly taking place via digital channels. BERNMOBIL wants to further expand communication via digital channels. Traditional paper-based forms, instructions or lists for drivers are to be increasingly replaced by electronic forms, documents and lists. To this end, BERNMOBIL drew up the "Concept for internal communication in operations" in 2016.

 

Solution / result

The project "Optimisation of the instruction tool" is divided into two parts: on the one hand, the development of the instruction tool by 4teamwork AG and, on the other hand, the further development of the BERNMOBIL iPhone application "eAgenda" by Glue - Software Engineering AG. This ensures the integration of the directives and messages.
