Management Summary
The Canton of Zug wanted a business administration solution that was legally compliant and comprehensible, as well as allowing for customer-oriented actions. All this could be fulfilled with the OneGov GEVER solution.
Customer
The canton of Zug has a population of around 120,000 and is a dynamic trading and financial centre with international appeal and strong growth. The central location between Zurich and Lucerne, the interesting tax policy and the excellent infrastructure make the canton an extremely attractive business location.
Challenge
The canton of Zug wanted an intuitive system for administration-wide electronic management. Since about 700 users in 60 offices process business together, the system should support cross-client work. Current archiving regulations and a paperless approach also had to be taken into account.
Solution
With OneGov GEVER, a solution that is easy to use and stable in operation was introduced in autumn 2011. In addition, the dossier-oriented filing system is available to cantonal employees at any time, as it is web-based and can thus be used regardless of location.
