The town of Nidau wanted a business administration tool to be able to manage its daily business efficiently and paperless. With OneGov GEVER, the right solution was found.
Customer
The town of Nidau has around 7,000 inhabitants and is located directly on Lake Biel in the Bernese Seeland. Characteristically, the town of Nidau has developed from a border and administrative base to a regional sub-centre with its many shopping facilities and commercial enterprises.
Challenge
For the employees and the political actors of the town of Nidau, it is imperative to handle the demanding tasks of a municipal administration professionally and expeditiously, and to do so paperlessly whenever possible.
Solution
Within a year, the functional requirements necessary for evidence and audit-compliant, digital file management in the administration were implemented and around 60 users have been processing their activities paperlessly via OneGov GEVER since September 2017.
